Getting Started with SiteLinx Plugins
Welcome to SiteLinx Hub! Our suite of premium WordPress plugins is designed to automate your SEO, content creation, and social media management using our centralized Cloud AI.
This guide will walk you through downloading, installing, and activating your first plugin.
Claim Your Plugin & License Key
Whether you are starting a Free Trial or purchasing a Pro subscription, the process begins on the SiteLinx Hub.
- Go to the Pricing Section and select the plugin you want.
- Click "Free Trial" (a $0 checkout) or "Subscribe Now" for the Pro version.
- Complete the checkout process. (No credit card is required for Free Trials).
Once completed, you will be redirected to the Order Confirmation page. Here, you will see two important items:
- Your Download Link: A specialized .zip file for WordPress.
- Your License Key: Unique code starting with
SLX-TRIAL-orSLX-PRO-.
Install the Plugin on WordPress
Now that you have the .zip file, you need to install it on your WordPress website.
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- In the left-hand menu, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the screen.
- Click Choose File and select the .zip file you just downloaded.
- Click Install Now and then Activate Plugin.
Activate Your License Key
To unlock the features and enable automatic updates, you must connect the plugin to your SiteLinx account.
- Locate the new menu item for your plugin in the WordPress sidebar (e.g., SiteLinx Social, Content Engine).
- Click on Settings or main plugin page.
- Paste your License Key into the provided field and click Save Changes.
Understanding Free Trials vs. Pro Limits
We offer Free Trials so you can test everything before committing. Here is how our cloud infrastructure works:
Trial Architecture
- • Credit-Based Trials: Most plugins come with usage limits (e.g., 5 Free Blog Posts or 5 AI Review Replies).
- • Live Usage Tracking: View remaining credits at any time at the top of the plugin's Settings page.
- • No External API Keys Needed: We handle all the expensive API processing on our secure cloud servers. You don't need your own API keys.
Trial Expiration & Upgrading
When you reach your free usage limit, the features will safely pause. A red notification banner will indicate the trial has expired.
How to Upgrade:
Visit our Pricing Section and purchase a Pro subscription. You will receive a Brand New License Key. Simply replace your old Trial key with the Pro key in your WordPress settings to lift all limits instantly.
